Implantology
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, we can replace a completely aesthetically and functionally lost tooth.
An implant replaces a missing tooth or group of teeth that the client has lost for any reason. In the first step, the condition of the tissue and bone must be checked using a 3D X-ray analysis to see if there is enough of it and if it is possible to insert the implant into the bone. If this is not the case, the bone can be artificially supplemented using a special bone material and a membrane that will fix it during the healing period.
During implantation, the implant is inserted directly into the bone under local anesthesia. If a larger number of teeth are being replaced with implants, the procedure can be performed in several steps. After the implant is inserted, it is closed and the healing phase begins. After less than 3 months (this period is completely individual and the next step may occur sooner or later), prosthetic treatment takes place.

We are one of the few clinics in the Czech Republic that also provides treatment with special REX Mectron bone implants. They are intended for patients of all age groups, including seniors, and can be inserted even into jaws with insufficient bone tissue.
We also specialize in the comprehensive treatment of edentulous patients who have not come to terms with removable dentures and desire fixed dental implants.
Implantology treatment is performed at our clinic by experienced surgeons. MUDr. et MUDr. Gabriela Pavlíková has been engaged in implantology since 1998 and her student, MUDr. et MDDr. Michal Španko, has been collaborating with her since 2018. Both are teaching staff at the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, where they teach at the Dental Clinic of the General Hospital.
